A – yes, we have developed a process which removes coatings from both without attacking the aluminium.
Q – can you remove galvanise, chrome and zinc coating?
A – yes.
Q – can you remove plastic coating?
A – yes.
Q – what form of passivation is used?
A – a water rust inhibitor.
Q – how long does it last before recoating?
A – subject to suitable storage, up to four weeks.
Q – can i leave tyres on alloy wheels being processed?
A – no, the tyres must be removed prior to being processed.
